American rock band the Foo Fighters has released a number of successful singles in the United States and abroad, including No. 1 hits like “Learn to Fly,” “All My Life” and “The Pretender.” The band’s most successful single to date is "Best of You," the lead single off of the group’s fifth record.
In Your Honor was released in June of 2005 and peaked at No. 2 on the US album charts. The band released “Best of You” as the album’s first single. With a high of No. 18, “Best of You” became the band’s second Top 20 hit. It remains the group’s highest charting song on the Billboard Hot 100. The song topped both the US Alternative and US Mainstream Rock charts, the first of five Foo Fighters songs to do so, and was a Top 5 hit in Australia and the United Kingdom. To date, “Best of You” remains the only Foo Fighters single to achieve platinum status in America.
